I aim to know the strategy, roadmaps, markets, and plans. I am the CEO of my product and use über creativity to find the special sauce and make all the decisions. I aim to get everyone onboard with a vision, and find the soft skills of each team member to embrace how valuable they are to the vision. I believe in leadership training and tapping into purpose, cause and belief as to why we build products is important.
As a strategic leader, I utilize the power of influencing my colleagues to look at the bigger picture and work towards our long-term goals. It gives companies the much-needed advantage over competitors
In the same way that a culture cannot remain stagnant, work processes and ideas cannot remain stagnant in order for a company to be successful. Companies can encourage innovation by hiring employees that do not like to fail and then create a culture that gives them the opportunity to try.
Your product strategy needs to be realistic, while at the same time being enough of a stretch to get your team gets excited about building the product.
How to deliver value ??? Value for user is a critically important product concept. It’s at the bottom of product/market fit, growth, revenue and basically much more. A product can be buggy, user experience can suck, your marketing budget may be zero and yet high-value will attract customers your product and make them use it again and again. On the flip side if you can’t demonstrate value early and clearly, no one will stick around to try your product a second time.
Roadmaps are the output of the strategic planning process. You can link goals to detailed work and show the time frame for achievement, given your resources and capacity. Roadmaps is one of the best and useful tools for communicating plans to stakeholders and tracking progress against your objectives.
KPI, or Key Performance Indicator, is a quantifiable measure of performance over time for a specific objective. KPIs provide targets for the entire teams, milestones to gauge success and progress, and insights to help the company make better decisions. Targeting, core loop gameplay, retention, virality, and monetization are some of the most important KPIs I focus on.
